Step-by-step guide to reinstall all required gems, for instance if the gem folder is broken (or something like that)

  1. make sure that you have loaded the script. "echo $GEM_HOME" should point to a .gems directory within your autoproj installation.
  2. delete the .gems directory, for instance
rm -rf $HOME/dev/.gems
  1. reinstall autoproj
gem install autoproj

Note: if you are using ruby 1.9 on ubuntu/debian, use gem1.9.1 instead of gem

  1. do
autoproj osdeps
